MY SCHOOL EXPERIENCE THIS YEAR & MY EASTER HOLIDAYS-by Sofía Marcos de Juanes

MY SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
This essay is going to be about the period of time I have enjoyed at school this year. This year has been an absolutely new experience for me, last year I was living in England(Bristol) so I was a little bit out of the normal habits of the school, this is mostly why  I am finding this year quite weird and difficult. In September, when I first came to Spain to start the school I was very scared about my friends because after a whole year without seeing them it would be different than other years and straightaway, I was also scared of all the subjects I had missed out on in the past year.
Now we are almost at the end of the year! It's amazing, it's almost summer! Has it been difficult for me this year? Well, yes, I think it has been really difficult year for me to catch up on all the work done in 2º.ESO. This is probably what made my grades go lover, especially in Math’s and Spanish. The teachers were also scared because I didn't know them and it was worrying.
About relationships, my best friend was leaving to England so I was kind of sad because I wouldn't be with them. However, I have met new friends who I actually did know before, but no as much as I do now and this made me really happy because in September, the first month of school, I was only with Maria whom I knew since we were younger, and who has always one of my best friends. After about 2/3 months of school we started going with  our best friends now.
In conclusion this year has been very interesting, fun and unexpected. However I would change my habit studying in the second term of school.

MY EASTER HOLIDAYS

I am going to write about my Easter holidays. This event is very important for my family, we always celebrat together as a big family with my grandmother, my cousins and my auntie.
We used to go to Malaga because it is where my mother and my auntie were born and they have been following the processions since they were 2 years old. We always used to see the processions also with my mother's friend from the childhood who lives in Malaga.
However two years ago we decided that it would be a wonderful idea to travel to a place we hadn't been to before during Easter holidays.
This year we went to Berlin, Germany, people had talked very nice things about this city.
Berlin is a city which has a lot of important and interesting history; it was destroyed with the Second World War since 1939 until 1945.
We saw so many important monuments like the Holocaust Memorial which represents the deaths of the Jews or the typical Berlin Wall which represents the division from Americans and SovietsJews during the Second World War, we also visited the Jews neighborhood where they used to live.
Before going to berlin everybody recommend us the typical kebabs shop so we obviously went to try them and they were awesome!

I fully recommend this city to people who like history. I have enjoyed this week journey so much but I didn't really like the city as a beautiful city because everything is destroyed.
