THIS YEAR-by Marina de Miranda

The year is finishing and the thruth is that it hasn’t been as bad as I thought.
Last year, when I was in 2º of ESO, everybody told me that this year was going to be a very difficult course because many people who had had an average of outstanding grades, started to get in the exams a 5 or a 6 so I started the year a bit scared. Also, this year I have changed my classroom so I’ve been with people that I have never been with except 3 girls that were with me the last year.  Fortunately, one of them was my best friend and all my classmates have been very kind and they have helped me in everything I needed, but I would like to return to my old class.
Over time I have intergrated and I have seen that this course isn’t as difficult as everybody has said and the teachers aren’t as hard as I thought.
In this course we have made important decisions like if you want to study science or language, or if you want to study highschool or not.
This is a course in which you have to study and do the homework daily if you want to have a good mark because in general the things that we study are easy except some units that are new and difficult to understand.
This year I have been a bit stressed because apart from the homework and the exams of school I also have been working on the Dual Program, which is an extracurricular activity that takes up a lot of time and consists on studying the american high school degree.
Also, because of the new law,  in 3º of ESO we are going to have GLOBAL EXAMS!!!!!!! and I am very scared because they count a big percentage of the final mark and we are the only course that does them, so in june we are going to be studying for the global exams and the rest of the students are going to be at the pool.
So, in conclusion you have to work hard, and not be scared and worried if you are going to pass to 3º of ESO. I hope to have a good mark in these exams so I can enjoy the summer.
