WHERE WILL I BE IN FIVE YEARS-by Marcos Bernard

Where will I be in five years?

I think that in five years I will be living in my own house because I think that I could win the lottery.
I will buy a house in Miami, in front of the beach, so I will surf every day. My house will be very big and it will have a big garden so I will buy a dog. Also it will have a pool and a lot of bedrooms for the people that I will invite. I will buy a nice car to drive it around the coast. Also I will buy a plane for traveling around the world and I will visit my family that will live in Spain.
So I think that I will have a nice live without problems

ROMANTIC STORY: DEAR JOHN-by Ana Carmona

Romantic film – Dear John

I am going to talk about a film that I consider to be a very romantic film which is called Dear John. In this film the main characters are one girl and one boy that fall in love but they don’t see each other normally because he is a soldier and he needs to travel a lot, but they send cards to each other all the time while he is out.

I think that this film is one of the most romantic films for me because it's a really nice story, with really good actors, but at the same time it's really sad, like most of the romantic films and you don’t get tired of it. I have seen the film like three times and the songs in the film are really good as well.

MY SUMMER-by Casilda Castellanos

MY SUMMER

This summer Im going to work in a residence as a volunteer to help elder people. This won´t be my first time as a volunteer, in June of 2015 I worked in a hospital with people with different diseases and this year I will spend 2 weeks in July at the residence.
The sixteenth of July I will go with my father, brother and sister to Comillas (Cantabria). We will stay there for the rest of the month. We usually go to the beautiful famous beach of “Gerra” where we, normally, play and practise football and surf (my favourite sport). We also go to the mountain to walk for long periods of time, between 1-2 hours. It's very fun and relaxing to be in family there.
When August starts, we go with my mother to Asturias for the rest of the month. There the plan is very similar of Cantabrias one.
As an exception, my mother is organizing an Atlantic cruise for the first week of August. ¡It's exciting!
Im looking forward for summer and for seeing my friends that I can only see during vacation.
I hope that I'll have great marks at the end of the course because if I dont I will not go on the cruise.

And this will be my summer this year.

ANIMALS IN EXTINCTION-by Inés Cava

Animals in extinction
Lots of animals are losing their habitats and their conditions of lifestyle, so they are dying. The whole world is losing races and increasingly the animals are going into extinction. We don’t want the Earth without animals or plants, because it would cause strong problems for us and they wouldn’t be very nice. I’m going to talk about few animals that are already under extinction:
1.     Magellanic penguin: The fishes that habits the icy waters of Antarctica are emigrating because of warming of ocean currents. These fish are penguin’s food, so they are forced to travel hundreds of kilometers to find new food.
2.     Polar bears: Their habitat is seriously being threatened by the melting icecaps in the Arctic, resulting in the isolation of the species, more difficulty for getting food and sometimes there are distances that are too long to swim.
3.     Mountain gorilla: They could completely disappear in the future. In critical situation there are just some populations around the Congo River that have this kind of gorilla.
4.     Tiger: Its population has declined a lot because of human encroachment of their habitat and poaching.

For improving this situation, we should be careful with the environment and take care of the animals.

THE EASTER CHOCOLATE EGGS TRADITION-by María Cabeza

The easter chocolate eggs tradition
The Easter chocolate eggs tradition for Catholics, comes from a long time ago.
During the lent, it has become a habit not to eat meat every  Friday, but the old catholics, used to fast also of dairy products (eggs, milk, cheese, butter, cream, ice cream, yogurt…) so,  they couldn’t consume the eggs their hens gave them. Also, they couldn’t waste them. So they kept all the eggs bathed on a thin layer of wax so that they didn’t get off.
Throughout history, the tradition of the thin layer of wax has been substituted by chocolate, sugar with different colours and sizes.
Nowadays most of the Spanish catholics follow the tradition of hiding the chocolate eggs  so that the youngest people found them and believe that the easter hen (or sometimes the Easter bunny) has brought them.
During Eastern, most of the bakeries work on easter dessert and mainly on chocolate eggs to create the best ones.
