The survival of a lot of animals is increasingly worrying due to habitat loss,
hunting and related climate change challenges.
TIGER
The
accelerated deforestation and excessive hunting can imply the extinction
of tigers that are hunted because some parts are used for traditional Chinese medicine,
while their skins are highly valued in the market
ARCTIC
POLAR BEAR
Arctic
polar bear has come an icon of the victims affected by the loss of habitat due
to climate change, the polar could be extinct in the next century if heating
continues in the arctic.
PANDAS
Their
habitats are bamboo forests found in mountainous areas. For many years they destroyed part of these forests for their transformation into farmland. This
was a serious threat to pandas, whose populations were reduced and were left
more isolated.
LINCE
The break
of their habitats, loss of food, the mortality related to man are the most
important threats.
JAGUAR
The two main reasons of the blurring of the
jaguar are motivated by human action. First, jaguars are hunted for
their fur. Farmers are also enemies, who expand their territories near
the jaguar, and often defend their flock ending the life of these animals.
BAULA TURTLE
It is in serious danger of extinction. They
attract more tourism, catch, water pollution and hunting for their shell, meat
or eggs.
