I am
going to review a film called ‘MammaMia’ that was released in 2008.
The movie stars MerylStreep and Pierce Bronsnan and it was based on a musical of
the same name. It is a musical comedy about the lives of a mother, played by Meryl Streep,
and her daughter who is enganged to be married.
The daughter doesn’t know who her father is,
so she steals her mother’s old diary to find out who he is.
What she discovers is that there were three possible fathers, because her mother had three differnt boyfriends in
the year before she was born. As she doesn’t know which of the three her father is, she
decides to invite them all to her wedding, without her mother knowing, which is a great
idea.
In my opinion it is
a hugely entertaining movie with funny characters and a gripping story. I
strongly recomend watching this movie. If you watch this movie, you will be
singing along with the characters.
