The longest ride

The longest ride it´s a film released in 2015, directed by George Tillman. The film is based on a novel of Nicholas Sparks that is about two love stories separated in time and connected by fate.

The love story takes place in North Caroline. Luke (Scott Eastwood), a former rodeo champion that tries to win again, after having an accident in which he almost died, and Sophia (Britt Robertson), a university student that is going to start her professional dream, a job in a prestigious art gallery in New York, fall in love and, on their first date they rescue Ira (Alan Alda), an old widower, from an accident on the road.

In that accident Sophia takes an old box full of old letters that Ira wrote to his wife Ruth (Oona Chaplin), that died when he was young. Since that moment Sophia starts to go every day to the hospital to read Ira his letters because he can´t read them.

After the accident Sophia says to Luke that they can´t be together because in two months she is going to move to New York so it´s impossible. But with the passing of time they realized that they were still in love with each other so they went back to be together.

The experiences that Ira had with his wife will help Luke and Sophia to overtake all the obstacles that love presents and they will learn that love always requires sacrifice.

In this film you will learn that love transcends time because the story that Ira and Ruth go through is the same as the one between Luke and Sophia but 60 years ago.

In this film I cried a lot and now I think that is one of my favorite films and if you like weeping and romantic films I recommend it. You will love it!!!!!!!!
