A Christmas Story
This is a story about a very poor family.
The family consists of two boys and two girls and the mother.
To begin with, the children´s father had died of an illness one year ago and the family was very sad because they loved their father a lot.
Their mother had to look for some work as they didn´t have any money to buy food and clothes for the children.
The mother´s job didn´t pay a lot of money and they found it difficult to survive.
Christmas was coming and the mother was very worried about not having enough money to buy Christmas presents.
The children told the mother "Don´t worry about the Christmas presents, mom. The most important thing is that we are all together and we love each other".
The place where the mother worked was a factory making electrical products.
One day, shortly before Christmas, the people in the factory were selling lottery tickets.The mother decided to buy one even though she didn´t have a lot of money.
"Maybe I will be lucky and win" she said.
A few days later the numbers were called. She was so surprised that her lottery ticket had won "Oh my goodness!" she said "I can´t believe it ".
Very quickly she finished her work and hurried home to tell the children.
The children were screaming with delight they coudn´t believe it."What a fantastic christmas we are all going to have " they said.
