In July I was
in Madrid because my parents were working the whole month. All the weekends we
went to an old house in Villaescusa (Zamora).
My summer
officially began on August the 5th when we took the car and went to Asturias, in
the North of Spain. Browsing the net, we hired a small house for one month
The trip was so long and boring because it lasted more than 5 hours. When we arrived at our destination we eventually
saw our cottage. In this garden there were lemon and apple trees and even a fantastic
barbecue. In the garden also there was a small “horreo” where we had breakfast
everyday with amazing views.
In summer we
went to many beaches. One of them (“La Griega”) had big and strong waves, and
me and my brother were surfing without our surfboards. Another day we went to a
beach, it was located at 3 Km from our summer house. In that beach we caught some
craps. At the end of the day we had 15 craps, and we cooked them in a “Paella”.
It was finger licking good.
The best experience I remember was the descend in canoe trough the river Sella. It was
impressive. We had a blast and at the end of the way we were exhausted. We had
been rowing 14 Km.
I also loved
the tour to Gijon (one of the main cities of Asturias) because there we saw a
soccer match “Sporting - Real Madrid”. Of course Real Madrid won the match.
At the end of
the summer we went to Santander. We hiked about 4 Km, and at the end of
the walk we ate a tasty ice cream at the seaside.
One of the
best and famous dishes in Asturias is the “Cachopo”. The Cachopo is a breaded steak
with raw ham and strong cheese. It´s delicious. And we had one of thes e in the
best restaurant in Gijón: “El Tropical”, close to the promenade.
My last
summer was an unforgettable experience.
I look forward coming back to Asturias next August.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
This movie is about a boy named Peter Parker who is
bitten by a spider in a lab. When he is bitten, he acquires some super
human powers.
He has the same skills as a spider : speed, strength,
agility, spider sense that warn of dangers
Like a spider, he is able to climb walls and throw webs.
Peter uses this power to help people because when he
was a child he saw the murder of his uncle.
Peter makes a spider dress to safeguard his identity.
His best friend is Harry Osborn and after an accident
he transforms in his main enemy, is “ The Green Goblin”.
The Green Goblin has a flying machine and throws small
and explosive pumpkins
I loved the movie because it has many special effects
and there is always action.
