New Year in New York
In New York people celebrate New Year in Times Square
which is the most important square in New York. The celebration is the 31st of December;
starts at 5:00 P.M. and ends at 00:00.
In the event a very big ball falls down at midnight, it
takes like 10 seconds. The ball has 3,6 meters and covered with 2,688 Waterford
crystals. Times Square reunites thousands of people of different countries.
Before it a lot of different Singers act on a
very big stage under the ball. Last year singers like Miley Cyrus, Macklemore
& Ryan Lewis and Blondie acted for thousands of people.
This is one of the most important and special events in all the world at Christmas.
