Over
the last years, traveling to other countries has become easier and
cheaper. You can organize a trip in just a few minutes thanks to the new
technologies. I still remember the first trip I made. We had to go to
a travel agency and select the destination, the hotel, the visits, using
a printed touristic guide. Last week we travelled to Switzerland and
organized the trip overnight using the Internet, reserving cheap flights, a
convenient hotel, renting a car while comparing different prices...it didn't take us more than 30 minutes!
The
good thing about this, is that you can discover new places, new
cultures and meet new people and friends. Sometimes it's when you travel that you discover the good things you have back home, such as the
food, the climate, the city... You learn as well how other people and
other cultures to do things and you come back from those trips much richer
in experience and knowledge.
I
have never bee in America or Asia, but would certainly love to travel
there. I suppose that the culture is very different and you can discover fascinating things.
