World Cancer Day
Thursday is World Day against cancer, a disease that takes many lives every year. They estimate that this
year the cancer will take around 8,
000,000 lives. The international ONG asks people to stop smoking, eat less red
meat and reduce alcohol and do more exercise.
Under the campaign slogan “We Can, I Can” the World Cancer Day
is an opportunity to draw attention to let people know that you can save
millions of lives. The
economic cost caused by cancer is so high that it is estimated that in 2020 may
amount to more than 150,000 million euros.
My opinion on World Cancer Day is that for me this
disease is very serious and celebrating the day of cancer people can realize
what cancer is and how important it is to find a cure for this disease
