EASTER

Easter is a very important celebration in Spain for all the Christians commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The preparation being Ash Wednesday which is the first day of Lent .

Lenten continues for 40 days (excluding Sundays) and ends on Easter Saturday , the day before Easter Sunday .

Palm Saturday always falls the saturday before Easter Sunday. Christians remember Jesus’ entrance in Jerusalem.

Monday, Thursday , is the day in which the apostles and Jesus get together for the Last Supper.

Jesus Christ died on Easter Friday .

The resurrection day is Easter Saturday.

A famous tradition from England , which comes from a long time ago, are the “EasterEggs”. They decorate them for surprising someone. They are so cute...
