Every year we can hardly wait for the Easter holidays. After
we had been working hard a break is welcome because we need to relax.
This year, on Easter holiday, I went with my family to
the beach for a week. We rented a house by the sea and we had a great view.
Besides, the weather was fantastic.
We had a wonderful time and we went out every day. We
visited the town, as it was the first time we had been there. On Saturday we
went in the centre of the town to see the procession. There was a big crowd of
people waiting excitedly. Suddenly we heard a big noise made by dozens of
drums. After a while a group of people appeared caring on their shoulders a
statue of Jesus Chirst. We were impressed by the costumes which were purple
with a pointed hood. This is a unique event that attract many tourists.
We had an amazing time at the beach enjoying the sun
and getting to know the traditions of a different town. It was an interesting
experience and I would like to return there next year.
