SPAIN

Spain is a country located in the south of Europe (Spain belongs to the European Union), under France, next to Portugal and over Africa.

Spain is a democratic country in which the government is set up of a parliamentary monarchy. The Spanish capital is located at the centre of the peninsula: Madrid.

The Spanish territory is divided in 17 autonomous communities, 50 provinces and 2 autonomous cities. Spain is surrounded of the Cantabric sea at the top, the Mediterranean sea at the south east, and the Atlantic ocean at the west. In the Mediterranean sea is located the archipelago of the Balear islands, and in the Atlantic ocean, next to Africa, the archipelago of the Canary islands (both archipelagos are Spanish autonomous communities).

Spain is a very famous country because of the food, the traditions and the beautiful places: in Spanish food, the most typical meals and ingredients are the Spanish omelette, the Serrano ham, the olive oil, the paella, the stew…

The most typical Spanish traditions are the bullfighting, the sevilian dance, the religious traditions (the Catholicism is the official Spanish religion). Also the different celebrations such as Saint Fermin, the Fallas of Valencia…

Spain is a very beautiful country which I recommend everyone to visit, is a great place where you can eat very well, and have a worthy live working as everyone.
