STAYING PHISICALLY HEALTHY-by Sofía Casado



Staying Phisically Healthy :

Physical activity is essential to prevent and reduce risks of many diseases and improve physical and mental health. It can help you to live longer—a research from the American Journal of Preventative Medicine indicates that regular exercise can add up to five years to your life.
Physical activity keeps you in shape so you can enjoy entretaining activities and safely perform work and home chores. It offers great mental and social benefits as well. The Lancet released a series of studies that attribute positive outcomes to physical activity, including “a sense of purpose and value, a better quality of life, improved sleep, and reduced stress, as well as stronger relationships and social connectedness.”


Some Strategies that in my opinion are good for improving physical health:
EATING WELL:
Enjoy eating well, like vegetables, fruits, fish,meat…. Like food by combining it with another flavours…
Get 5 meals every day but with a control amount of each one.
Drink more water, more or less 2 liters per day.
Cut down on sugar, don’t eat buns, sweets, chocolate….
Boost your fibre
Eat less saturated and total fat and avoid hydrogenated fats.
GET GOOD SLEEP: at least 8 hours each day.
DO FUN AND INTERESTING EXERCISE ACTIVITIES: this is the most entertaining way to keep yourself physically healthy and you can enjoy it with your friends.
