Did you enjoy your Easter Holidays?
Ours started as always ... My mother wanted to stay at home, doing nothing. She doesn't like to travel in Easter, because she says that it is such a short time for packing and unpacking suitcases, and to be moving by car, and that always there is bad weather, in the north, in the south, in the mountain, in the beach ...so you don't know which clothes to put into the suitcases.
But my father wanted to go somewhere ... he works very hard and he wanted to rest, preferably at the beach. And there was a friend of my older sister Sofia, Cecilia, who came from Denmark, so we had to do something special, and try to show her somewhere more than Madrid.
So finally, we went to the beach, to Marbella. Before that we went to Granada. Also we have been in Segovia, for turism.
In Segovia we were one day, visiting the Acueducto, the Alcazar, and of course the city, and eating "cochinillo". In Granada we were also only one day. We couldn't visit the Alhambra, because you have to buy the tickets a lot of days before, but we took a walk around the city and we saw la Alhambra from the Albaicin. It was a very nice view.
In Marbella, the weather has been not very bad. It was sunny, but windy, and it was cold. And the house was very cold because it was the typical house for summer. So we could be at the beach, but we couldn't swim, the water was really, really cold ... well always is cold the water sea in Marbella. But we had a swimming pool with warm water, and it was very nice. Also I played tennis with my father and with another friend also called Nacho.
I really enjoyed my holidays, and I could make sports, rest and study. There is time for everything... if you want!
