EASTER WEEK-by Marta Fernández-Herrero

EASTER WEEK
This 2015 Easter week I went to Malaga with all my family. We stayed in the Castle of Santa Catalina which is an old house of my father’s family that nowadays it is a hotel but hundred years ago it was an ancient Arab fortress.
We arrived on Friday and we left on Monday. When we arrived we went to the castle to see it and chose the rooms. It was awesome, very big. Then we went to visit the centre of Malaga.
We’ve visited the cathedral of Malaga which was very big and beautiful, but
dangerous because we were all the time going up and down stairs. We also visited
Picasso´s Musseum which was awesome. We learnt that to paint is not just
to paint things how they look like, it's to paint also amorphous things.
After visiting Picasso´s Musseum we went to visit Pompidou Center, which was very
modern and very strange but we like it because it was original.

After all the visiting we went to the beach were we had lunch. We ate the typical
fish of Malaga which was delicious and also we ate the typical ice cream of Malaga,
and then we went swimming and fishing to the beach.

At night we went to a typical restaurant of Malaga were we had dinner and then
we went for a walk around Malaga. Also we saw all the little shops and the
streets illuminated, which was very beautiful.

We spent a really good week there, better than we had planned and we want to
go there again.
It was a very good experience with all my cousins and that is why we loved it.
