School trip
For the past years the students of
4th of E.S.O have been going to different parts of Spain on their prom trip. This
year we wanted to go somewhere different than Spain, and after a much insistence, we were told that we would go to Portugal!
We spent a lot of hours of bus but in
the end was worth it. We first went to Guadalupe where we visited the monastery. Afterwards we visited Trujillo and then we took the road to Caceres where we spent
the night.
The second day we visited Caceres and
took the road to Coimbra. We were all really excited and really couldn’t wait to get
there. We had some trouble with the bus because for some reason it wouldn’t
work properly but it the end it all got solved. When we arrived to Coimbra we
had some free time to visit it ourselves and some of us went to see the University of Coimbra, because it’s a well-known university and we had heard
how pretty it was, but when we saw it, it was even better.
On the third day we took the road to
Lisbon, I had already been there but I didn’t remember most of it. We got a
guide that told us a lot of things about Lisbon and who in the end taught us some
common and basic words in Portuguese that would come in really handy while we
were staying there. Afterwards we had some free time and we went for a walk and
most of us bought the typical dessert as a present for our families. After
having lunch we took the road to Merida were we were spending the night.
The last day we were all really tired
because it had been four really intense days. We visited the Roman Theatre and
Amphitheatre. Then we went to Oropesa and we had lunch in a restaurant close to
it. Then we took the road to Madrid because the trip was coming to its end.
For me the trip was an amazing
experience I had such a good time and I hope I get to live another trip like
this in the next 2 years!
