NIGERIA
Nigeria is one of the most populated
countries in
Africa. It's located in West
Africa in the
area of the Gult of Guinea
and its form of
government is a Federal
Republic. Abuja is the capital with 1178568 population. It has an important
literary culture, one of the most read novel in the world is called “Things fall apart”.
Also, in the
musical field the compositor Fela Kuti stands out. Nigeria
includes many types of traditional and popular music, for example, highlife.
Nigeria is considered “The heart of African music”.
The gastronomy
is known for its variety and richness, the use of some herbs, spices…which often give a spicy flavor thanks to peppers and chillies.
The most common
sport in Nigeria is football, also basketball, athletics and cricket.
Nigeria has competed in the Olympics Games since 1952 and has obtained many
medals.
