NIGERIA
I am going to
talk about the culture in this country.
The most
recognised person in Nigeria is Chinua Achebe, he is a famous novelist and
poet. He wrote a novel that is very famous called: ¨Things Fall
Apart¨, it is the most read African novel in the world.
Nigeria has the
third most valuable film industry behind India and The United States.
This industry is called Nollywood. In 2013, Nollywood generated $10
billion alone.
In the music area,
Nigeria has a lot of traditional African music, this country has been
very important in the development of African music so Nigeria has
been called ‘The heart of African music’.
Talking about
Nigeria’s gastronomy, it's famous for its variety. Usually they use
palma’s oil and mani’s oil to create sauces and soups that are
spicy.
