What do people know about Nigeria?
When you ask someone about Nigeria
the only thing they say or think is that is a poor country situated in Africa,
a non-developed country, without many sources.
The truth is that when you look for
information about Nigeria what you realize is a completely different reality.
Nigeria is a country which is rich in oil but because of the social problems,
a little minority of the Nigerians are able to exploit it. Nigeria is therefore a developed country not as people think, and if you look for some images you
will realize that is doesn’t look at all as what we first thought.
Another big problem is the
discrimination towards women, not only by their husbands but also by their
family. There are a lot of diseases, some of them really serious such as AIDS,
which is really extended around Nigeria. Probably the
biggest problem is that there is a lot of corruption by the politicians in the
government because they say that they will help the population not as the others before have done, but in the end, when they get to the government they do exactly as the
rest of them.
It's a country in which the density of
population is really big, and supposedly it will have a very significant grow
in the next 50 years. It's the 7th country when talking about the density
of population. So think about it, is Nigeria how you thought it was? Did you
ever thought it was like this?
