AN ADVENTURE I WILL NEVER FORGET-by Julio Gil

An adventure I will never forget

I was on holiday in Asturias, and I went to the cinema with my sister, my uncle and my aunt. Half of the family went to the apartment with my little sister, my mum, my grandma and my aunt to watch a scary movie.
After the movie, we wanted to return to the house and we followed the GPS instructions. We knew that we had to go to Noja, and in the Gps appeared Fuentes de Noja. Suddenly we started to drive into a mountain. After a while the road was really small and it was getting dark. When we were going up there were some cows in the road and the trees were becoming bigger. When we were at the top of the mountain the road ended and there was only a path of rocks and a man without a t-shirt. In the car, everyone was quiet, we were really  sacared.  Also we had seen a scary movie...
We didn´t know what to do because if we continued the path we wouldn't be able to see and we could fall down but… what if this road went to the beach? Finally we decided to turn around and after many hours we arrived home.

MY SUMMER-by Marina Pérez

My summer
This summer was great; I did a lot of things:
The first half of July I went to my first camp at The Pyrenees. I was there with friends from the last school I´d studied at. I had a lovely time there with my friends and I enjoyed it a lot. Time flew!
Also, the second fortnight of July I went to another camp but this time in Cantabria. All the monitors were Canadian so I have been talking in English most of the day. It was a chance to improve my English. My friends were from different cities of Spain as Pamplona, País Vasco, Valencia... In the mornings we had classes and trainings about relevant issues as first aid. I learnt a lot. In the evenings I practiced some sports like laser tag, water games, aerobic...or we went out to the farm, to the beach. It was my best camp ever, I will never forget it!
Then in August I went with my family to Tarragona. We went every morning to the beach, then we rested in the resort and we enjoyed playing water games, card games... I tried to surf and I liked it. And at the end of my holidays in Tarragona, my parents gave me the present of four days in Portaventura. I had never been there and it was amazing. When we returned to Madrid we spent two days in Andorra shopping and visiting all the lovely landscapes.
Really, this summer has been one of the best of my life!

MY SUMMER-by Pedro Huescar

MySummer

My Summer started in June, but I had to wait until my parents finished working to go on holidays.
On August 1st I went to a town called Ciudad Real de Villanueva de la Fuente where I met with my friends.
Every night we went out there until 00:30 am.
Then came the tapas competition where each retaurant prepared a meal with various things, from anchovies to kebaps. We were given a sheet to rate the best, although it was very difficult because there were over 12 restaurants which participated.
Then came the festival of my town where we spend at least 20€ per day and kept us going until 4 am. The feast lasted 4 days of which I could attend only two days because I had to recover.
So then, I had to come to Madrid to start the school.
Then it was my father’s birthay, and to celebrate, we went to a restaurant near Lago de Lozoya which was lovely, the worst thing was the mud that invades our feet.
Then school started, although it was difficult to readjust to everyday life.

ONE DAY AT THE THEME PARK-by Juan Ybañez

ONE DAY AT THE THEME PARK

Two weeks ago I went to Madrid’s theme park.
Itwas a very nice experience because we had lots of fun with my father’s friends and my family.

Madrid`s theme park is one of the biggest parks in Europe, I think it's the biggest but I am not sure. It has lots of attractions, some of them are really funny but there’s also a small part of the attractions that are not really fun, like the ones where you go into a house and other people fright you.

My favourite attractions were:

LA LANZADERA
This attraction is about you sitting on a big chair with other people, when the chair starts to go up and when you are at the top the chair goes down very fast, you stand up and your stomach starts to feel weird...

LA TARANTULA
This attraction is about a very big rollercoaster that has lots of curves during the trip and when you are sitting in your spot,  you feel that the wagon starts to turn around
and you start to get silly.
This one is my favourite.

And now, the ones I hate soo much...

WALKING DEAD
Like you thought, this is an american tv series. The walking dead is also one of the scariest attractions on the theme park. Since the first moment that you go in, you start to feel really scared because there are lots of zombies trying to kick you and scare you. This attraction is not recomended to people under eight years of age., because you could cry or you could get scared.

In conclusion, this was one of my favourite days of the year because it's really fun for children and for teenagers like me
