SAN JUAN DE LUZ CAMP-by Marina de Miranda

This summer I have been a fortnight on a camp in San Juan de Luz (France) and I went with my best friend, Carmen.
The first day, we were very nervous because we didn´t know anybody and we didn´t speak french very well. But in the following days we got more comfortable and we had lots of fun.
We did a lot of activities and sports inside (played gymkanas, water fights, ...) and outside (canoeing, surfing, sailing, snorkeling ...) the camp.
The one that I liked most was snorkeling because we went on a boat to a reef and we saw a lot of different types of shoals and then, at the end of the activity, we threw use from some rocks that there were on the reef. It was amazing!!!!!!!
Also, we visited a lot of small villages with small white houses, with red and green windows and in San Juan de Luz there were the villages festivities, so we went many nights to dance to buy and to eat creppes and waffles because the food of the camp was a little bit disgusting.
And we went another night to San Juan de Luz to watch at the beach the fireworks because it was the Independence Day in France, that is the most important festival day there.
The last day was very sad because we had made a lot of french and spanish friends and also we had a lot of good and fun moments with the teachers.
This was a fantastic experience and we improved our french.
