LORD OF THE RINGS LIVE CONCERT- by Antonio Gómez

On January the fourth my parents, my sister and I went to a concert in the National
Auditorium in Madrid. The concert was to play The Lord of the Rings. A novel written by a
British author named J.R.R. Tolkien. He was a teacher at Oxford University. The concert
was amazing because it combined live music with the show of the film.
The concert started at half past seven in the evening and ended at eleven o´clock. It was
very exciting because while the movie was going on with the live music there was also a
choir with adults and children. It sounded very well. They showed the first movie of the
Lord of the Ring, “The fellowship of the Ring” in English with subtitles in Spanish.
Time passed very quickly. When it finished all the audience applauded a lot to the
musicians and to the choir, especially to one boy who sang alone some parts.
I liked it very much and I hope they will organize new concerts about the other parts of the
novel.
