TRADITIONS OF NEW YEAR
Every country has its own traditions.
In Spain we have a lot of traditions of New Year but one of them is eating twelve grapes. They are twelve because in the calendar you have twelve months. The most important spot in Spain this day, is "La Puerta Del Sol" square.
In Germany, fireworks are very popular. The most important spot in Germany on this day is the Brandenburg Gate. Also in Brazil, fireworks are very popular.
In italy they usually eat lentils on New Years Day.
In Costa Rica after midnight people go to celebrate the new year with differents games of gunpowder.
And in every country they celebrate the New Year drinking champagne, cava or other spirits.
