The Champion’s league tournament

The champions’ league is a cup that is played by the best 32 teams of Europe. In the most important countries the 4 best teams of the year before participate, but there are some countries that don't have their best teams participating. Normally the favorite teams for winning the tournament are always the same: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea; Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Atletico, Manchester City. There are sometimes surprises because one team that is not very famous achieves a very good position. This year I think that it will be very interesting because all the teams are very prepared and every team would like to win the tournament. Last year Real Madrid and Atletico were the two best teams of Europe but only one team can win that tournament so they played the final and Real Madrid was the winner of that year. The Champions League is organized by UEFA (United European Football Association) and the prize in money for the winner is 60.000.000 euros. It is the most prestigious tournament in the world. 

Every year, the biggest teams buy more players and change their rosters in order to win. A lot of money is invested by teams in new players. The final match is followed by the TV’s of more than 200 countries and more than 200.000.000 people.
