GLEE

I want to talk about one of my favorite shows ever, Glee, because I think that it is not just a show, you can learn a lot of things from this program.

Glee is a series of comic-musical television broadcast on Fox since 2009. It is based on the school William McKinley High School in Ohio, where the choir called "New Directions", competes against other choirs, like Warblers or Vocal Adrenaline.

The cast could be divided into two groups, adults and choir members.
Adults are Spanish teacher Will Schuester, who is also the choir director, coach Sue Sylvester cheerleader, and student counselor Emma Pillsbury, among others.
The other group of those forming the choir is made up of different people as they are leaving or entering the group. Some of the most important members are Finn, Rachel, Kurt, Blaine, Santana, among others.

Throughout the whole series there are new characters entering and also some guest stars, such  as Demi Lovato, Ricky Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The series is made up of 6 seasons; the last was released last Friday January 9th. Each season is composed of 22 chapters excepted the last one, that only has 13.
As it is a musical series, it's based mainly on songs of all types and competitions but also lessons as they face real life people with difficulties as paralysis or other people's hatred towards gay or those who have different ideas than the rest. The protagonists have difficulties in the glee club but always forget their problems and find their friends and don’t matter if you are different.

Also there is a film call glee 3D concert movie; it is about one tour that they made in the United States of America. They have also been nominated and won many awards in different categories such as best television series and best actress Lea Michele and various awards, like the People's Choice Awards or the Golden Globes.

Some actors were already famous before being in Glee, but others became famous with this series, such as Darren Criss and Lea Michele, among others, which have released albums and worked in other film projects or even shows on Broadway.

I hope you like it and you start watching this show because it's amazing and also I've gotten to know a lot of different songs because of Glee.
