STEREOTYPES AND PREJUDICES

Societies always tend to create their stereotypes and prejudiceS. Although in each society these are different from other societies, each one has got its own.

Nowadays being fat or short is seen like a horrible thing, but in other times being fat was synonimous of health and beauty, another example today is we are nearly sunburnt at the beach or in the pool because being dark is seen as wonderful and beautiful and white skins are seen unhealthy.

Some of the stereotypes affect people seriously, they even end up in racism, feminism…

Likes and dislikes change with the times, but others remain equal. For example, people from southern countries are thought to be more temperamental and not so hardworking as northern people who are thought to be more hardworking but also colder.

So, in my opinión, stereotypes and prejudices should be forbidden and forgotten because they aren's good for anything.
