OSCARS 2015-by Patricia Fernández-Bujarrabal

OSCARS 2015
I’m going to talk about the best moments of the Oscars of this year, that were recently celebrated (1st March).
The ceremony began with a beautiful performance by Neil Patrick Harris (the presenter). It was a star-studded performance, it was legendary.
Continuing his hilarious streak, Neil Patrick Harris came on stage wearing boxers (this moment will be remembered for many years)
One of the best speeches was the one by Patricia Arquette (best supporting actress Oscar winner). She said many things in favour of women and she demanded equal rights for women and men. After her speech, Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez applauded her a lot..
For me, the best moment was when John Legend and Common performed “Glory” the original song of the film “Selma” that won the Oscar for the best Original Soundtrack. The performance made many actors cry because it was very emotional, remembering Martin Luther King and defending the rights of the black people.
Later, Lady Gaga did a performance in honor of The Sound of Music’s 50th anniversary and then Julie Andrews surprised the audience presenting the following Oscar.
Finally, Eddie Redmayne won the Oscar for best actor in a lead role for The Theory Of Everything and he dedicated it to the pactents of ELA.
