NIGERIA - by Fidel Obama

HI! As you know my name is Fidel Obama, and no, I am not a family member of Obama, the US President.

NIGERIA, such a beautiful country with an amazing landscape and great animal diversity, is located in the heart of Africa. It represents quite accurately what Africa means to us, the Africans.
When I talk with my school mates about Africa, they say with no hesitation that Africa is a poor continent full of starving kids. On paper, yes, but there are a huge amount of countries that are not as poor as they where 50 years ago, and one of those countries is Nigeria.
Its capital is Abuja, with 2 million inhabitants, but its most populated city is Lagos with 7 million inhabitants. It has the largest economy in Africa, a growing country, full of natural resources, such as diamonds and petrol.
Nigeria is the seventh most populated country in the world right now, with quite an impressive number of inhabitants, 174 millions people, the largest in Africa. Living in a country ruled by the inequality of rich and poor, as you can probably guess, is in fact one of the biggest problems in the world; inequality of opportunity for everybody.
Nigeria, such amazing country, that it speaks for itself. In our hearts, we know that it's worth visiting for an amazing once in a lifetime experience.
