WE HAVE TO PRACTISE SPORTS-by Gabriela Sagnier

It is often claimed that people today practise less sports than they did in the past. Nowadays, people never think about how beneficial it is to go into sportsWhen you practise any sport it is not only to keep fit; practising sports has many benefits. Obviously you keep fit, but even more importantly, you have a good time and at the same time, you reduce your stress level, for example.
In fact, practising sports is considered one of the best ways to relax after a long day of work. Apart from a relaxing activity, you reduce your possibilities of getting ill because your defensive system is stronger. Some scientists say that the best time during the day to practise sports is very early in the morning because your muscles are relaxed, and at night if you have problems sleeping because you get tired. While it is true that young people have to go to school, and when they arrive home they have to study, they practise sports once in a blue moon. They say as an excuse that they don´t have time, and then they spend hours in front of the television. During the weekend, normally you have more free time, time that you can use to go to the street to do some sports.
I can honestly say that I love sports and to me it's really easy to practise it at any moment of the day. Another reason is that I know all benefits of it and I am conscious about the importance of keeping fit and healthy; it is important too because you reduce your aggressiveness and increase your general well-being.
As I see it, the government must increase sports facilities and should make some transportation changes, making a cycling way or some sport spaces in parks would increase the amount of people that practise sports, because some people complain about the lack of sport facilities that there are in our city.
In conclustion, I believe that the best solution is to improve the sports facilities that exist now and create something interesting and new for people that are interested in practising a sport and don’t have much space to do it.
