STEREOTYPES-by Patrcia Valencia

Stereotypes
Means: a fixed idea about a particular type of person or thing, which is often not true in reality.
There are stereotypes that are true and there are stereotypes that are not true.
One example of stereotype wrong is that the women are more talkative than men. A research by psychologists at the university of Arizona has shown that women speak  about 16,000 words a day and men speak slightly fewer.
Another stereotype that is wrong: Football, some boys think that the girls don´t like to play futbol but they are wrong, maybe there are not many and maybe the girls don´t play really well but if they want to they can play.

Another stereotype that is true: Women are experts at gossiping, the range of women´s conversations are bigger than range from men´s conversations .
