SCHOOL TRIP TO CERLER-by María Peral

                                                 SCHOOL TRIP TO CERLER:
This year as the past three, I’ve went with the school sports club to the Aragon Pyrenees. It has been as always an amazing experience that I would love to be part of again. Each year the school gives us the opportunity to ski for a few days and to improve our skills at this amazing sport. Each year this trip gets more and more popular and this year it has move almost 200 people counting the parents and the counselors. The kids that come each year are  younger, this year even kids of 4 years have come.
The trip started as every year, with a lot of enthusiastic kids coming up and down of the bus ready to start the long trip that was coming up. There were a lot of new faces in the counselors side, but at the same time a lot of faces that we already knew because they have been coming to this trip for a lot of years and most of them were students at our school. After a 7 hour trip we finally arrived to Cerler, we knew a great weekend was coming up!
On Friday we had to woke up at 7.00, we went to rent the ski equipment and start skiing around 10.00. It was a perfect day because it wasn’t a national festivitie so only the people from Madrid had been able to go out this weekend. On the afternoon we went to a sports center to play some sports like basketball and football.
On Saturday we woke up at the same time and drove up to the slopes. After a long day of skiing we went to a club which is well known by the people who have been on this trip at least once, the classic Petronila. The little kids had an amazing time and we did also enjoy it a lot. The songs that we danced were very different, we danced from “Paquito el chocolatero” to “La Macarena” but nothing would stop us and we all had a really good time and danced until we were asked to leave.
The last day we woke up at the same time, we knew it was the last day so we were all a bit upset and at the same time really tired after 2 really intense days. After skiing in the morning we had to get back to Madrid, which meant we had a 7 hour trip coming up.

In the end, as always, it has been an amazing trip and I can’t wait to go next year, hopefully as counselor for the first time and be able to enjoy another 3 days of 100% of ski as we say.
