CÁCERES, TRUJILLO-by Paula Encinas

Cáceres . Trujillo.
Well,at school we went on a trip to honour our last year of E.S.O, and one of the sites that I liked most was Cáceres and Trujillo.
I found Trujillo and Cáceres lovely, with a lot of charm.
Trujillo is located 47km from Cáceres
You only need to have a quick look to realize its prehistoric origin, its historical value.
You could realize how Trujillo has lived through different stages of history also how this place has gone from a roman settlement to a medieval city and the important center that it's today.
About its nature,in Trujillo there are a lot of natural important habitats for biodiversity.
You could see birds, for which it's was a protected area.
The most remarkable monuments were: The old Alcazar (the castle) ,the church of Santa Maria and the most popular place;the main square, with a large statue of Francisco Pizarro.
This square was full of arcades with bars,restaurants..
Before, the place was occupied by artisans,merchants.. and then by palaces ,stately homes.
In my opinion it was very nice and I have very nice memories from there.
