My essay is going to be about the comparison of the fashion sense today and fifty years ago. It´s very interesting because, we have changed very much throughout the years. It might be difficult to compare them because they are two completely different periods.

I think today´s society is extremely fashionable and style conscious. People, especially teenagers, tend to wear the same clothes, and it is not very original. However there are people that like wearing unique clothes but, it is sometimes difficult, because nowadays all shops have the same type of clothes.

Girls like to wear high platform heels, tight skirts or pants, and big and heavy purses. These kinds of clothes and accesories aren´t good for the body, because high platform heels cause serious discomfort for the feet and for the back, and heavy purses can damage the shoulders, even so, I like to wear it too.

Also, I think all teenagers like comfortable shoes like nikes, new balance, superga... and sporty clothes like hoodies.

And in my opinion boys are also really good-looking with shirts.

Fashion sense of fifty years ago, was very different compared with today. People tended to wear similar clothes as well, but they looked more formal and elegant in comparison.

Girls, didin´t used to wear trousers, they only wore dresses and skirts under the knees. They didn´t wear high heels, and instead of that they wore closed shoes, boots...

Boys wore suits and shirts , with formal trousers. In short, people liked wearing formal clothes.

I can only conclude that fifty years ago people wear more style conscious than today. They knew how to dress and they have a good dress sense, but even so again, I really like today´s style.

In our lives, people dress more casual than years ago, and some people could think that fifty years ago  people were dressing better than now. However they are two extremely  different periods.
