TYPICAL FOOD OF NIGERIA
The most typical dishes from Nigeria are:
1.Arroz Jollof
The main ingredients in their preparation are rice, tomato paste, tomato, green pepper, onion and salt. It uses coconut oil for frying onions, seasonings and tomatoes; then the rice is cooked with mixing.



2. Maafe
The meat used to prepare Maafe may be lamb, chicken or beef. It is cooked with a sauce made from peanuts and tomatoes. But besides meat and sauce, other usual ingredients include chicken, tomatoes, cabbage, onions and other vegetables. Apart from these basic ingredients,you can add any type of meat, vegetables or spices.
 
 

3.Suya
The suya is generally prepared with chicken, fish or beef skewers threaded to cook. Before threading the meat is marinated with tankora.
The tankora is a mixture of dry spices, including ginger, ground peanuts, cayenne, onion powder and paprika.Then cooked over the fire and grilled.
