EDUCATION

I’m going to write about children’s education in Nigeria. I choose this topic because at my school we are donating money to build a primary school there.
In Nigeria, millions of children are still without a school, also they have a poor environment of education because for example they don’t have a table or a chair for each student and they have to sit down on the floor and obviously that situation doesn't allow the children to live up to their full potential at school.

Can you remember the news about what happened on the 14/04/14 on a high school of Nigeria?
This recently occurred on Chibok-Nigeria and this Monday we remember it because it happened a year ago.
The high school girls were asleep in their dormitory. The attackers (Boko Haram) enter the the school, they set it on fire and kidnapped more than 200 girls, and disappear into the night. Only 53 girls in total could escape that terrible situation. These young girls had a life, goals, dreams, a family and they attended a high school away from their house to have the best education that was possible. The families kept finding their missing daughters hoping that one day they could appear and come back with to their families.
