PROM TRIP

MONDAY          SOAKED TRUJILLO 

We set off to Caceres at 8:00 AM. Our first stop was at Guadalupe where we saw the monastery and then at Trujillo. We did a mini tour of Trujillo; this would have been great if it hadn’t been raining so much. By the time we got back on the bus we were soaked. After 1-2 hours we finally arrived to Caceres, to the best hotel in the world, the rooms were huge with really big white beds and bathrooms and three strawberries with chocolate for us.   

TUESDAY                SLEEPY, SLEEPY, SLEEPY!!

We woke up (just about) at 7:00 AM and I had to wake up my sleepy friends for a mini tour of Caceres. Then it was back on the bus for us for 4 hours to Portugal. When we arrived to Coimbra we had free time to explore, go shopping and visit the centre. However we there was an incident with a drunk man (problems between Spanish and Portuguese language) at the time it was scary but now looking back  it’s funny.

WEDNESDAY             HELLO LISBON!!!  

So it was another 6:00 AM wake up call to get on the bus for 3 hours to Lisbon. In Lisbon we had own bus tour guide. We saw Belem Tower, the famous monastery, lots of famous squares and also the “25^th April “ bridge that looked like golden gate bridge in San Francisco . After that we were allowed to get off and explore wonderful Lisbon. Finally we had to come back to bus to Merida.

THURSDAY                 LAST DAY   

So we woke up at 7:00 AM and did a mini tour of Merida (with our fantastic guide Manuel). We saw a very famous roman theatre and then we had to say goodbye to our trip. I was sad but I was secretly excited to go home to sleep. We arrived at 6:00 PM and I was relieved to go to bed.

Overall I liked the trip but we spent too much time on the bus
