Jonny was born in 1963. He began acting at the age of 27 years.

His first film was called Edward Scissorhands in 1990, a modern day Fairy Tale which was a box office smash hit.

This was also the first collaboration between Jonny and director Tum Buston, a partnership that when on to make many more successful movies Sleepy Thollow, Sweeny Todd, Willy Wonka´s Chocolate factory and the most important the movie was The Pirates of the Caribian Series, with Walt Disney.
