On the island of
Thisby every year for Scorpio November races are held. In them, the drivers
have to travel through Capall Uisce, the most violent and bloodiest seahorses are evaluated to win the race or just to stay
alive. Puck is a girl who lives with her two brothers, Finn and Gabe. Her
parents died when they were attacked by Capall Uisce and from that day she gets
by with just enough money to survive. But the tranquility of Puck ends when the
richest man on the island, Benjamin Malvern announces he will remove the house;
and intends to leave Gabe to go to the mainland. The idea of racing has never
entered Puck’s head, but now he has no choice if he wants to save his home and
get his brother to stay a few more weeks.
Sean, meanwhile, is the person who knows more about horses on the island and has won races in four years. Despite all the victories, Sean really has not gotten what he wants the most: freedom. His boss, Benjamin Malvern Corr sells training leading Uisce Capall for six years and has won races. There is only one way to achieve this, and that is winning the race this year.
