Paris

Paris is one of the most beautiful and visited cities in the world. It's named the city of lights, the glamour city and the city of love.

It's famous for its architecture. For example, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Eiffel Tower are both famous. For the  museums, the Louvre has the works of Gioconda and Venus of Milo. For historical places (the invalides - where we see the Napoleon´s tomb). The Siene river passes though the centre of Paris where each year more tourists visit. Its weather is European with cold winters. The French gastronomy is popular around the world. Typical foods of Paris are canard a l´orange, foie de canard, certain cheeses, baguettes, petits fours, eclaires, crepes, and croissants.

French people are very quiet, correct, and very elegant. The streets are very clean. The gardens and the avenues are too. Near Paris, you can find a very important and nice place called Versailles, with a  big castle ,a lot of fountains and gardens.
