Christmas is coming

The best part of the year is coming, the one that everyone expected, not only we want to get gifts as many people say. After intense exams are completed we have a few weeks to rest. I like this time, especially the atmosphere that there is in all the streets, when you go outside and there are people placing numerous decorations to make this Christmas as homely as the previous ones.  You can go for a walk in Serrano Street and see all the decorations where the  lights are surronding trees or a man is dressed as Santa Claus and is wishing you a happy Christmas. You can see all the people in a hurry to buy Christmas gifts or decorations for their homes, and when you get home your mother tells you that if you want to set  the Christmas tree with your family and you open that huge box which contains all the decorations of different colors and kinds crammed with that big green tree that each year is missing more leaves but your mother always find the way to fix it. After putting the Christmas  tree you have to set the Nativity Scene and you get each figure carefully because if you break it, the anger of your mother is not little, and you set all the figures up. The best thing is that every night is special. We celebrate it like the Christmas Eve for example, those dinners where you think that your pants buttons will explode at any time, and then your little cousins with the tambourines to sing Christmas carols come up and they let your ears damaged because instead of singing it seems they are war cries. Then the Three Wise Men night comes up. Durint that night when you were little you were all the night without sleep thinking that they were coming but if they caught you awake you didn't have the gifts, it was a little frustrating but well this is Christmas and I love it.
