DIVERGENT-by Inés Crespi

Divergent

I´m going to speak about my favorite novel: Divergent.
It’s the first book from a trilogy. I love this novel because there are plenty of human values.
The characters are divided into five factions: Abnegation, Erudite, Dauntless, Candor and Amity.
This society, created by the author, just allows having one of these values, so the one who has more than one, it is considered a threat (as the main character: Tris). This book tells the story of how she fights against the system, because it’s not fair. And the system is becoming self-destructive. The leaders want to have the power and they don’t share it with anyone else. What she aims, is to end that way of working.
No more power for no one. Equality for everyone: having the opportunity to have a lot of values.
So I find this book very educational because it shows that being rebellious is good, if you have a good cause.
