THE FAULT IN OUR STARS

It's a novel by the famous author John Green. The story is about two teenegers (Hazel and Augustus) with cancer. They are sixteen and seventeen years old.

Hazel, the girl, tells the story about what would happen if you had a different life.

The story starts when they meet in a support group where they have to explain why they are there.

Hazel tells that she had a thyroid cancer and Augustus tells that he had osteosarcome and he had lost his leg.

They begin to be friends and they spend all the time together.

Hazel recommends him her favourite book (Imperial Affliction). When he finishes the book, they decide to go to Amsterdam to meet the writer.

When they arrive, they meet him. Hazel asks him some questions about it and he doesn´t answer.

After the trip and they start dating. The next after, Augustus confesses that he has cancer. Eight days later, he dies.

At the funeral, Van Houten(writer) appears and he gives Hazel a letter that Augustus wrote to him where he says
”I love her and the hurt is inevitable but I´m happy with my choice”.
