Titans of Mavericks
Titans of Mavericks is a contest/event and festival held each year (winter) when the North Pacific Ocean creates the biggest possible swell. This happens at Half moon bay, Northern California. It is still not clear when the event is going to take place this year, but it officially opens on January 1st through March 31st each year.
Just 56 riders (titans) are selected from the best big waves riders of world to take place for the initial battles of the dangerous and sometimes deadly event. Therefore the festival will feature names like Carlos Burle, Kelly Slater, Greg Long, John John Florence… and many other amazing surfers.

ResponderEliminarI chose it because as I really like a surfer that is going o take part at the event(John John Florence) I started getting really interested at it.Another reason is that it impressed me a lot because of the strength and height of the waves.
