THINKING OUT LOUD BY ED SHEERAN

This month I’m going to talk about the new video by Ed Sheeran.

• WHO IS ED SHEERAN?

Ed Sheeran is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who had to move from his hometown to London to pursue his dream. In his beginnings he had many difficulties but also had lots of opportunities to be known. One of the things that made him famous was his collaborations with other artists, writing their lyrics as for example, taking part in the movieThe Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug  with the single I see Fire.

Nowadays, has a recording contract and is a rising international star.

Recently, Sheeran has released a new video called Thinking Out Loud included in his new album, as the 3rd single, called ‘’X’’.

• INFORMATION ABOUT THE SONG

MEANING

• In this romantic ballad, Ed declares his love for someone saying that he will always love her with the same force and intensity that he feels right now even if in the future, when they’ll be old and she wouldn’t have the equal appearance as today because of her age. So, at the middle of the single he proposes to her to enjoy their youth as much as they can. But, also Ed Sheeran wonders if she will feel the same as he will.

DURING THE MUSIC VIDEO RECORDING

• To record this lovely video the British singer had to learn a particular choreography made by Nappytabs and trained by Paul Karmiryan. However, the redhead didn’t dance alone, he had a ballroom partner, Brittany Cherry, with who he spent a lot of time practising this dance.

• OPINION OF THE VIDEO:

• From my point of view, I would say that this is the best video made by Ed Sheeran because he expresses his emotions expressed in the song by doing a ballroom dance. I really liked it because he is very shy. The idea of Sheeran dancing when he didn’t dance at all, makes me think that he is making an important improvement in his career achieving new goals to get better video and performances.
