Freddie Mercury:

Freddie was born in 1946, on the island Zanzíbar. His parents were Indian.
He was a British singer, composer, and musician. He was known for being the founder of the rock band "Queen". The band was formed by: John Deacon (bassist), Freddie Mercury (singer), Brian May (guitarist) and Roger Taylor (battery). Queen went on to make several hit records, one of the most famous was "A Night at the Opera" in 1975 with the famous song "Bohemian Rhapsody". Sadly, in 1991, Freddie was one of the first international celebrities to die of A.I.D.S, when he was only 45 years old. Freddie was an excellent singer, so many people still listen to his music.
